I was thinking about coming up for the weekend, but didn't really want to do the run. Just to hang out on the boat and party, and sight see more than anything. Where would you guys recomend looking for a dock at?

I suggest charlevoix marina for a dock. Everything that could be avail in Boyne will be taken by the poker runners.

Charlevoix city Marina is Booked

Yes, I tried Charlevoix and see that they are booked or blocked out for that weekend. Looks like East Jordan is avaialble, but have never been there before and the nearest boat ramp is in Charlevoix.

It is blocked out cuz "The Great Lakes Cruising Club" has it all full!! I believe they R 2 B out by noon on Boyne Thunder Saturday!
