Very interesting. As a former Ohio company I'm glad to see the heritage continue forward.

My first boat was a late 70's 19'9" Checkmate Convincor Jet Drive. I bought in in 1982 and it had a 460 ford motor and a Berkley Jet Drive. Was a fun boat for a young man at the time!

As a current owner of 2 Checkmates, this is good news to see the brand still in the game.

No one ever wants to see the end of a boat brand. Powerquest is a joke these days. Wish someone could have saved them.

I loved my PQ.
Wished bigger and better for the brand too.

Son has a Checkmate now.
Really popular in the area.
Seems like some of their latest offerings have been pretty interesting and "affordable" (compared to some others in the industry.
Would be good to see them do well too.
