I hate when this stuff happens.. It really put a damper on a great weekend we were having. Seeing the medics come to the dock performing cpr was really sad...
The whole ride home my wife and I couldn't stop talking about it. Although we couldn;t see what happened, it happened very fast. They made the turn in front of us and headed towards the back end of the course. We could hear him throttling down for the turn, then all the sudden we just heard a loud POP and saw water, that was it. Moments later the medics, police, copters etc. were all on the scene and all the boats stopped nearby.
