I don't believe the motor could be stock.... no way a stock 565 runs 97 in that boat!

Unbelievable to me too. 560hp ? But 540cid right ? So prob 600+ ft/lbs torque ? Maybe boat weighs 600-700lbs ? Lol
I see a OL 29 on a lift occasionally and although ‘small’ it is not tiny like an equivalent length Tuff or etc.

I think a 28 Tuff ran 95 with a 525:dunno
