Connecticut River Run
 

Info, details........who is going? I heard it is Sunday the 18th

Great get together for fast outboards..put on by Rich Owen(screamandfly.com)..we only know about it because of our interest in Hydrostreams(river rockets)..
we run up the CT river..pull into a beach north of Rocky Hill..have pizza and cookies...make a charitible donation..and watch the outbroards make high speed passes..we are lucky they let some larger "wannabe's" join the fun!!!

Dan here with Tsunami. We met in Fairhaven. Everything my Dad stated is pretty much what the run is. Its just a get together of boats. We go into the soft shoreline of the river and beach the boats. Its all soft so there's no damage or anythingto the bottom of your boat. Billy said you were thinking about coming down. If no one wants to bech the boats we can always stop and grab something at a restaurant on the river. There should be a great turnout as usual.

Just let me know where and when. Billy and I will both be there with our boats. Hopefully we can have a good representation of some larger boats. We'll try to get some other guys from up here to come down with their boats as well.

i'll try the beaching thing.i'll just drop a rear anchor and pull myself to deeper water.

We've never had a problem beaching the Cigarette or the Sutphen. We usually just pull up and tie to a strong tree branch. Its also really cool to walk around and see the pocket rockets! Once we get closer to getting a firm count I'll email Rich so he can order enough pizza for everyone!!
