Boyne Thunder 2020
1 Attachment(s)
Had my first call about the Street Show 2020. A boating friend has restored a 36 Dodge Power Wagon and converted it to a 4dr. The pic is not his truck, but is similar. He also is finishing a 72 Bronco. I admitted to him I’m working on the 2020 Bronco to be here. I got him thinking about shipping the Bronco also.

I was sent this from Boyne Thunder
|
I’m guessing that is the work of the Mainstreet office.
|
Nice pic, I will put that up on FB if you are ok with it?

How many docks have the sponsors taken up?
|
I can not answer that. I need to make the next meeting to catch up.

I see it's not a sell out yet....

There are still a few spots left. They said they had a couple call the office to sign up today. We are at about the same number as last year at this time. It works good to have some spots left to fit people in.

My niece got married in the Park in the picture. As you look back at Bay Harbor there is another channel that goes behind those homes. Most people don’t know it’s there. I think that is one of the cooler spots at Bay Harbor.
|
The homes on the south arm of Lake Charlevoix was owned by one of the Winn’s from the Four Winn’s boat company. I believe they still own the house. The yellow place that looks like it is falling down next to it is a friends from Lansing. If Dugan is at his dock pull up and ask for one of his famous Bloody Marys.

That would be John Winn’s house. He built both homes.

Across from the Shaken not Stern house is this crazy one. Owned by Merillat from the Merillat Cabinet’s . He is a nice guy and has bought a couple trucks from me.

Local people call it the Christmas house. The red has faded a lot. There is a 60ft wooden yacht inside of that door with serval other boats.

Our pilot for Boyne Thunder. I believe his jet might be a more expensive hobby then boating. |

Camp Quality posted this on FB. They promised their child a party after the aggressive treatment was over. They were not able to have a party, so their local town gave her a parade.

Awesome !!! |
I have said several times, I was involved with Camp Quality before I started to help with Boyne Thunder. I gave children at the summer camp rides in my Fathers’s antique cars. Kids getting in the car with IV’s hooked to them. I sure hope we can pull it off this summer. We are the number one funding for them.

Boyne Thunder the year we had the carnival here. You can see the Excursion and trailer in the yard. The Mustang is parked at the marina. I would guess this is Friday morning.
|
Looks like we will have a news release in the morning. We are not going to be able to pull it off this year sadly.
