Looking for some thoughts on the Street Show. Water St.is the Sponsor's street, Lake St they let me try different ideas. One year was Fountain Friday, it turned out good and was fun. Last year I went old school. Had several people no show on me, but ended up with some cool boats. Not sure what direction I'm going this year. But need some boats that will be up here and not part of the run. The guys in the slips do not want to pull their boats out, and I get that. If there is going to be a group coming up that wants to put something together, let me know. Or if you have a idea, post it. Thanks.

Looks like the chance of getting Reggie Fountain to the Street Show is going to fall apart again. To put a little fun into the street show , I’m thinking of making a raffle out of it. Putting gas cards from 25.00 to 350.00 in a hat, then let the driver of the truck that is pulling the boats in draw a card.

If anyone wants to start signing up for the street Party, let me know.

The fishing boat makes for good flag holders. This will work good for the starter boat.

For 2019 we will start the first group in front of the Harborage Condos. We will parade the boats down past the city Marina. The boats will turn at the end of the park (in front of the baseball field). The boats will go straight out to the middle of the lake. If you are watching from the water, there will be buoy’s set up. Please keep the Center of the lake clear. Thank you for your cooperation.

Huge Thanx 2 ZO6 on the board 4 towing a sinking boat all afternoon from about Northport back 2 Char! Last I heard they possibly hit something w/ the drive & water flooding the rear end?? Maybe get better details later! But Wally went about & beyond in his marshal duties! Thanx Bubba!:rock

The 4th Pace Boat hit something by Fisherman Island and took out a prop. My son Andy was onboard. Everyone and the boat are ok.
