I doubt the 6's could hold that much power.give up some speed for reliability.

nice job TJ.

I hear that boat will debut at the lake allatoona invitational

offshoredrillin 02-14-2015 08:31 PM

Looks like the centers of the rear seats open for storage, if so thats ingenious.... also knowing there is 4.5s, do you think you left anything by not going with them, or is the difference moot?

phragle 02-14-2015 08:58 PM

Wheres the burn cream after touching that much black?? It does look good though.

Wylie-Rat 02-15-2015 12:34 PM

Thanks for the pics - That boat is the Baddest of the Bad of all boats... Congrats to Bill Jr...

Handi Cap 30 02-15-2015 09:04 PM

I bet the black will stay pretty cool with a 200+mph breeze blowing over it :smiley-with-glasses

stillsmokin 02-15-2015 09:44 PM

It's built for speed. Congrats Bill o Jacksonville. Look forward to seeing it in person.

Gatorone, I was wondering what the differences are between your new hull and the "old" PP? Looks like the deck is shorter? Just curious cause the last one was wicked. What do you expect it to run mph-wise?
Amazing boat and I hope you bring it to LOTO for the shootout this year.

Is it the suede ? I have the black suede stuff on mu seats and it really doesn't get that hot... just didnt look like it in the pik.

stillsmokin 02-16-2015 10:54 AM

They have a black material now that doesn't get hot. Mike Mears had it in his Skater a few years back.

Panther 02-16-2015 11:34 AM

Wow. If anyone was wondering what the real deal is, there you have it!

I'm also impressed that they're able to run a tranny with all that power.

Thanks TJ. Was looking forward to seeing it. Congrats Bill. Looking forward to seeing it in person....

So true, I was at the outerlimits booth most of the week, never saw him there, granted pure platinum is beautiful, but so are most of the performance boats. A lot of people came by from the other manufacturers to check out ol,s recent boats and give their condolences about Mike.

Got back at midnight Monday and crashed, Bill. Been trying to catch up on things but finally had time to go through all of my photos and get them ready to post. They will be up over the next couple of days.

So true.....? Seriously, Shaun? :laff

I'm glad you were at the booth most of the week, and that you feel like just because you didn't see me, it must be because I only wanted to see one boat at the show and then leave. My phone didn't ring and I had no idea you were there. I posted PP first because of a number of reasons but mainly because I was thrilled for a few friends involved in the build, not to mention its owner and the way it turned out. I've been to the show at least 15 times and honestly I only go now to see friends, enjoy some time with them, and then get photos to share here. Not that it matters but I didn't make it to Miami until Friday night. Stopped in to get our credentials and then left for a late dinner. Saturday, I was at the show before 8am to get pictures without everyone climbing all over the boats. Just for the record I stopped by the Outerlimits booth and did get photos of all the boats. The new SL-41 and 46cat are incredible! You'll see pictures posted soon. I didn't see you there, Shaun? I did see Paul but he was in discussions with several others, and its not like me to interrupt.

As for Sunday, I spent it in South Beach with my wife and a few friends I had not seen in a very long time.

Have a good one........
TJ

Always one of my favorites... This new one is over the top cool.

I hope they make it out west for desert storm.
