2011 Key West Poker run
 

I'm back in Wisconsin freezing and I promised to post pics of the run. Our crew got in on Monday and hung out at the house till Wed when we headed up to Miami for Thursdays run down to Key West. These are during the trip up and seeing Miami.

Before getting to Sealine Marina, guess who boarded my boat? Our Coast Guard. The girls got a picture posing with them, I was busy going thru safety equipment. Actually they were nice, but why being the coast guard do they were BLACK SOLE shoes????????
Any way arrived at sealine fueled up and docked at my slip.

Thursday morning looked great 80 and calm, one of the crew brought a camera along to mount on the console.

BTW, 320 gallons of fuel, 30 gallons of water, 5 people plus 500 pounds of luggage the boat still ran just over 70:)

We left Gilberts and decided to run down to Key West without stopping at Holiday isle. Arrived in KW got my slip next to a quad Nortech CC, grab a cab and headed for Sunset Key and a beverage and sunset

You can't be in Key West without a stop at My Blue Heaven for breakfast, then back to the island and the races

And we counted 9 boats broken down as I went by with my 5 year warranty:)

Man, Looks like Gilberts was the place to be for the lunch stop. There were probably only 15 boats at our stop.

Thursday at Holiday Isle. We were trying to run with a bunch of the big cats and I think a lot of them went straight to KW. We were caught up in the moment and went about 30 miles past before we realized they weren't stopping.

Some heading home on Sunday 20-25 mph winds and 5-7s in the ocean an easy 20mph 2 1/2 hour ride home, I took one in the harbor before the rough stuff then one looking back. When we saw the 7 Mile bridge we cut under and went gulf side in 2 foot chop ran 50 plus and cut back thru Vaca cut to the house.

Washed the boat and racked stored it till Dec:(
