I had the third group, I think boats from 100-120, they all stayed behind and when I left Pine channel I ran 60 mph in some sloppy stuff, I think 4 from my group passed me before the first card stop, about 30 miles. In theory I should have been the last boat to the lunch stop

Tabs were on about 1.5 all day Saturday. Loved driving in that water

Bummer, I thought we got it right. People don't understand the feeling you get when you get to the take off with no where to go.

Enjoyed the Street Show Friday night - my wife would have loved this T-Bird; purple is her favorite color.

Of course, the park and docks were packed for Stereo Wars...

And Catnip was another work of art by Van Dam. Superb.

The T-bird belongs to a customer from Petoskey. His son has a 73 Mustang convertible like new, and a 72 Bronco lifted that I would love to buy.

You want crazy and out of control...

We lagged way behind. not knowing if and how the scarab was going to run, we didnt want to have problems in the middle of everybody. So we were going out as the spectator fleet was starting to come in.....

Does anyone know who to contact to attempt to purchase some Boyne Thunder merchandise that was sold next to the registration tent? Had a couple things I wanted to grab if still available, just never made it back over to that area.

Thanks

How come Boyne 2018 is going to be the following weekend? Usually its the week of the 4th?

Just wondering.

Blue Oval 07-26-2017 08:39 PM

One of the reasons is 4th being so close to the weekend. The 4th weekend it self brings in thousands of people. Trying to break up congestion and open up more rentals and housing. For years it was the 2nd weekend.
