Since this is a race toi get registered the only fair way to do it is to postpone registration untill it works for everyone.

100% agreed... if it starts working after all of us sat here and we miss out because the system was not prepared than that is out of our control and it should be rescheduled...

I'm off on Tuesdays and I'm sure a lot of people have made arrangements to be near a computer so they can register ASAP, the fact that we will have to do a do over is horschit. :deadhorse

Tried contacting bob alger and his phone goes right to voicemail, either he turned it off or is getting blown up.... I and several other people have emailed the registration link... see what happens

It sure would be nice if someone could enlighten us on whats going on. I'm sure a lot of us have to get back to work or have other things to do

I asked in post ho also, but are all returning participants not guaranteed a spot? Is it a race for preferred docks?

Well I have a meeting with a couple docs I am now late for....

keep refreshing is not fair to people who have to work and have attempted to do what was asked of them.

you need to voice your vote and tell them in the interest of all participants they need to reschedule the registration.

Pretty much, the ones on 1 water St are nice but far from the food and shower house. If you stay on your boat it's not fun walking a good distance to take a chit or shower,

Don't worry. I am sure everything will get resolved. Remember they do a great job.

A statement needs to be posted on the BT website and various boards that due to techinical difficulties registration has been delayed untill tomorrow at 9 am or whatever date you deem fit. You can not ask people to sit around a computer clicking refresh in the middle of work hours.

My guess is even if registration starts working there will be enough people that believe it was not a fair system that hopefully Boyne will do the right thing and reschedule registration.

We are going to enjoy our day and check back later, no point hitting the refresh button for hours just to be told we have to redo it again another day anyways.

Yep, back to work. So much fun!!

Rescheduling does 2 things.

Shows you value and respect your participants

And

Allows the techs to have to time needed to fix the issue without corrupting more code and causing more problems

PHUK that, people already wasted one morning at work, no need to waste another. Move it to sunday

What a freakin' mess, we know! So...techies are still working on fixing the registration. Stay tuned for the solution! This is not what any of us needed, we know. I cannot even find the words...I am waiting to hear how this will be corrected. So so sorry!
