1997 30ft Phantom SVL. This boat was completely re-done this year from top to bottom including new paint job, canopies, seats, scuba system, safety harnesses, wiring, switches, Livorsi gauges, rear view camera and monitor, Garmin 172C GPS. The boat also has a IMCO extension box and steering cylinders, 380 K-Planes, and Kiekhaefer trim pumps. This boat is like brand new, extra bulkheads in the engine compartment for strength, fully working ballast system, bottom has been straightened. Anything we could of done to this boat to make it competitive we did. This boat won the OPA SVL World Championships and placed 3rd in the SBI World Championships. I read some where (OSO MTI CC thread I think) that rear hump on the MTI's give like 700LBS of lift- seems backwards, like that hump would push down?

Maybe it's like a airplane wing. The air moving over the top curve produces lift :dunno
