My CB handle was conceived from that song. One night, a couple of weeks after I started driving, I started chatting it up with a guy roll'n ahead of me. He was dead azz tired, only had an hour to spare for his morning appt and was ready for a nap over the wheel. Before we knew it, the sun was coming up and he was just about to his exit. As he was exiting, he said he had a handle for me. Told me to listen to the words of "Dream Weaver"
Over the years, the crew I ran east with, shortened it up to "Weaver"
About 20 years later, by some weird twist of fate, I was roll'n across PA and a friend going the other way called for me on the radio using the whole name. An anonymous voice on the radio started asking about my handle and turns out to be the guy from that night.
