Flew in Thursday night...got picked up in this little truck for the ride over to Active Thunder. Here's wFriday Poker Run....we launched at Haulover Inlet in Miami and joined the group just as they were leaving...

There's a pair 2 draw 2!!!!! Congratz U 2!!!:rock

Sunset at Garrison Bight, our home for the weekend...running out to Boca Grande on Saturday....

At Boca Grande...this was the biggest bummer of the trip...we wanted to go soooooo bad, but by the time we got there, all the "protected" beach was used up, and it was VERY windy and wavey. We put the boat on the beach, but the bottom kept bouncing off the sand, so Pat had us pull the boat out. While we were doing that, we had the visitor pictured...I was a little freaked out...we don't have those in Lake Michigan...

Anyway...we hung out for a bit, tried to tie off a Cig 42X...ripped a cleat out of the fiberglass on the Cig, so we cut loose. Our anchor wouldn't hold, so we bailed and went back to the dock for stone crab and booze...

Rented bikes to get around...and it was a great choice!

For the record...the ride back was MORE than a bit rough...we were in 6 footers for 10 miles or so before Marathon...too rough to bust out the nice camera for sure!

Couple cellphone pics...the first two were right when we walked into the Poker Run party Saturday night...our boat was on screen!

We left Key West Monday at 10 am. It was 82 degrees and sunny all day. Landed in Chicago...29 degrees and windy as hell...didn't bring pants! Great way to end boating season!

Video of us going by a 40 Skater in some VERY snotty ocean water. Pat from Active Thunder on the sticks...I figured it was probably a good idea to let someone with over 20,000 hours on that hull drive in the nasty water, since we were still well over 100 miles from the trailer!
