AMBUSHER 11-12-2011 10:08 PM

Thanks again for all the great pic's Bob! That Skater is awesome.

Looks like somebody spent some big money on a 47' Apache resto, Konrad drives also. Wonder which 47' it was before?

allfiredup 11-12-2011 10:24 PM

I think that was the old Apache Kid. I heard the guy spent huge dollars on it. I think it has trip 11 or 1200's.

I'm talking about the one in the last couple of pictures. The one your talking about was "Running Brave" and is now the "Spirit of Apache"

Bob, Bill, did you see this Apache motoring around Key West over the weekend?

koenig 11-16-2011 06:48 PM

Another sweet Apache! One day I'll be able to pick up either a 47 or 41 Apache.

Not sure about the sinking but the restoration was covered on BF:

http://forums.boatfreaks.org/showthread.php?t=15969

And some video of Spirit of Apache can be found here: http://www.apachepowerboats.com/videos.php

That's the one! I started a thread on the other site when this all started, the thread was titled; "Sunbathing in St. Tropez". :rollsmile

Bob Saccenti and his crew completed a full restoration on this boat. Besides testing, Key West was it's maiden voyage with the owner.
