It's on the Calendar Bob! Looking forward to it. Any recommendations for lodging? (I saw the list, but what would your personal recommendation be?).

Blue Oval 04-05-2011 10:57 AM

Boyne Motel is close and cheaper, Water St. Inn is on the Water and newer/nicer-more $. How much time do you think you will spend in room?

rschap1 04-05-2011 11:08 AM

Wicked Won!!

:)

drpete3 04-05-2011 12:42 PM

That boat that says Susan t on the stern is so freakin cool. Made by a local company in Boyne called Van Dam.

Not enough to waste beer $ on it... Cheaper = better. Just need a shower and a roof to crash under for the night.

That's likely to happen, but if it's hot as sh*t, an air conditioned room would be great for the inevitable hangover....:booze1::rock

Blue Oval 04-07-2011 09:56 AM

Bring a sleeping bag and I'll have the air on in the house!

northerndoc 04-07-2011 10:46 AM

will do, Capt. thanks for the offer! Chances are we'll just pass out on the boat as Dr. T mentioned, but if the weather gets foul or anything, we'll take you up on it... Speaking of- what do we do about a boat slip for that weekend? Something else I should probably reserve now...

He is a Marshall boat, should be able to get you in to the marina without much problem. Friday nights we have rafted helperboats off the end of the main pier.

Was going to, but thought this would be a good way to see how it all goes and help out at the same time. Maybe next year.
