I have gallons lol Im heading out at dawn monday, camping in the UP for a few days then coming down thursday for Boyne.

I saw my first real life AXOPAR last week. In the magazines they sure look to run bow high but seem to get good reviews. You will need to give us a good first hand report after all the dust settles from BT.

Any incidents today? I heard someone at The Landing talking about the Coast Guard coming out for something.

I got a email on Thursday. The Coast Guard was warning us that they would be out for safety purposes and to tell the event helicopter to let them know. That was pretty dam cool that they did that for us.:uusaflag

Some big things went down. I could not make it past 11. I was spent.

Going on this run has been one of the best times I have ever had in my 50 years of boating. First let me say say Thanks to the Clarks for letting us tag along for this amazing 2 day event. Had the chance to finally put faces to the names of lot of Ho’s and their crews. If you love boating and want to be a part of one of the most organized, executed and friendly events which raises $$$ for a good cause do yourself and sign up. Someone asked me what my favorite part was, that is hard to answer but watching Ace Drive the ‘47 Fountain at 70mph while listening to his dad teach him how to read the water and why we throttle back when the boat is airborne was priceless. Let’s not forget Abe waving at the thousands of spectators in Round Lake then quickly falling asleep on the back seat listening to the symphony of the triple 525’s rumbling along at 4000rpm. This will be something I plan on attending again for sure.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, gang! What an awesome weekend - the weather couldn't have been better...as nice as I've ever seen up there. Friday night street show was insane and the boats were incredible as always. Thanks to Bob for letting me camp in his yard - what a great spot. And Rob's rum and coke was just what I needed.

Got to make some side trips on Saturday to some favorite spots on Torch Lake as well as hit Charlevoix. Hopefully I can get the wife to come along next year and avoid the last-minute planning.
