The old merc. SC motors like to burn fuel.....

Make the first half, stop for lunch and get fuel, problem solved:rock

FYI, we had a BT meet tonight & (not my liking, we tried hard last year, no deal) but gas/octane issues will B up 2 the participants!! Ward Bros in the corner in Round Lake has I guess what they term 90 recreational, no ethanol! So if U need more U may need 2 bring some boost!!! Sorry, do'n what we can!!!:wall_smiley::wall_smiley:

Hey Wrink, I wonder if I plan on buying gas at Ward Bros. at lunch they would allow me to get a few cans of 110 there before the run to dump in?

Blue Oval 03-30-2013 09:16 PM

I worked on gas option 2years ago. The only way I found to use a barrel of fuel was to have boat out of water on trailer. But you can call ward brothers and asked them what they would allow.

Some more pics from Phil. If you have been down on the South Arm this is the house that Merillat built. He owned Merillat Cabnets, to my understanding he sold the Company. He keeps several boats in the boat house. Cool place.

I must have helped pay for that house over the last 20 years. Merillat is just about the only line of cabs. I/we've installed over that time.
